Equipment
The EMM Lab is home to media equipment and production software which can be borrowed by lab members, faculty, students, and community members for research and arts-based research projects. These include:
- DSLR Cameras
- Desktop computers with the Affinity Suite, Davinci Resolve, and Reaper
- Microphones (lapel, shotgun, binaural)
- Tripods
- Lights
- Green/white screens
- Audio recorders
- Photo reflectors
- Battery packs
- SD card and adapters
- An iDraw pen plotter
- A Kill-A-Watt energy consumption meter
- A soldering iron, extraction fan, and misc mircoelectronic through-hole soldering components and breadboards
- An Adafruit Circuit Playground Express Advanced Pack
- A Risograph EZ221 machine and studio space which can be booked for print and zine making endeavours.
Most of this equipment can be accessed by current Trent cultural studies students, via the department's equipment technician/booking portal.
